TANNER JOEL TIMORUSKI
November 17, 1987 - July 18, 2010
It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that our family announces the sudden loss of our dear son, brother, uncle, nephew, and grandson. Tanner will be forever missed by his parents, Tammy and Terry; his brother, Thomas; his sister, Chelsea Rahn (Hayden) and their sons, Grayson and Atticus, and Tannis Perry, his soulmate. He also leaves to cherish his memory his two loving grandmothers, Joanne Timoruski and Cecile Woode of Moose Jaw; and his aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandfathers, the late Fred Timoruski and Harley Woode; his aunts, Shauna Bell, Beverly and Wendy Woode. Tanner was born in Redvers, SK where he lived until he was twelve years old. The family then moved to Medicine Hat, AB where Tanner attended school in the Catholic system until graduating in 2005 from McCoy High School. After high school, Tanner attended the Medicine Hat College taking Business Administration, and then pursued his Bachelor of Management Degree at the University of Lethbridge. It is there he met the love of his life, Tannis. Once he completed his degree, Tanner and Tannis moved to Edmonton where he worked for ATCO Gas and Tannis continued her education. Tanner's passion was golfing where he achieved many accomplishments. Tanner had a real love for his music which was shared with his good friend, Travis Nabe. He was an avid Maple Leaf fan, and always had a cheer and wore green for the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Tanner worked at the Cottonwood Coulee and Connaught Golf courses but really enjoyed his time working at Golf USA. Family was very important to Tanner; he cherished all the gatherings and held a special bond with each of his parents, brother and sister. His time with Tannis was cut short but brought him much life, love, and happiness. The hole left in our hearts will never be filled but we will try to go on without you as painful as it is. You were a gift from God and for that we are thankful. Vigil Rites (prayers) will be said at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, #1 Dunmore Road SE, Medicine Hat, on Thursday, July 22nd, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated in HOLY FAMILY PARISH, 1451 Strachan Road SE, Medicine Hat, on Friday, July 23rd, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Keith Sorge, celebrant.
