We, the family of the late Elizabeth (Betty) MacCallum of St. Peter's Bay, would like to express
our thanks and appreciation to all who offered their condolences and support through cards,
emails, phone calls, visitation and with flowers and donations. Special thanks and grateful
appreciation to the Reverend Kevin Dingwell for his counsel and for conducting the funeral
service. Our thanks and appreciation also to organist Kathleen Anderson, soloist Debbie Hood,
the St Peter's, Morell and Mt Stewart choir, to those who served as active and honourary
pallbearers, and to the Reverend Bill MacLeod for his presence and for assisting in the interment
service. Thank you as well to the village of St. Peter's for making available the Dr. Roddy
Community Centre for the wake and the reception after the funeral. We are also very grateful to
the St Peter's UCW for preparing and serving a lovely lunch. Our sincere thanks and appreciation
as well to the management and staff of Perrin's Marina Villa in Montague for their great care and
for making mother's last few months of life so meaningful. We should also include our thanks to
the nursing staff of the Kings County Memorial Hospital who ensured that mother's transition
from this worldly life was made with great care and compassion. Finally, we would be greatly
remiss for not expressing our profound appreciation to Loretta MacDonald for her loving care
over these past few years. It would not has been possible for mother to live alone in the old house
otherwise.
