February 20, 1926 - July 21, 2010 - It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Doris England on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at the Mississauga Trillium Hospital. Reunited in heaven with her loving parents Elizabeth and William Ward and her beloved husband Laurence England. She will be forever remembered and greatly missed by her daughter, Sandra and son-in-law, Mark. Dear sister of David Ward (Leta), Lawrence Ward (Shirley), Ruth Steeves (Jack), Milly Kelessi (the late Peter), Joan Murrell (Ron), John Ward (Jeannine), Gary Ward (Linda) and sister-in-law of Margaret and the late Don England, the late Faith and the late Will Burridge. She will be sadly missed by her step-granddaughters, Alicia and Chanelle, her many nieces and nephews, family members, and friends. Though she was shy and reserved throughout her life, she was a woman who possessed generosity, humour, grace and kindness to her last breath. Another beautiful soul has moved on from this earth.
A private family graveside interment will take place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at 1 Palace Pier Court, on the 47th floor from 2:00pm to 6:00pm on Saturday, July 31, 2010. In lieu of flowers, a donation to The Dorothy Ley Hospice at www.dlhospice.org or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
