The death of Roselyn "Ann" (Hedy) Cormier occurred at her home in Grand Bay - Westfield on Wednesday, July 28, 2010, with her family by her side. Born in Saint John on December 29, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Marguerite (Sharkey) Belding. Ann was a Nursing Assistant for many years at the TB Hospital and St. Joseph's Hospital, was a home care worker with the Red Cross, she worked at Lingley's Stationary and MacMillan's. Ann also worked in the Library at the River Valley School. She is survived by her long-time partner Douglas Earl MacDonald, son, Michael Cormier, Saint John, daughters; Joan (Bill) Harding, Shannon, Lorna (Bill) Wilson, Quispamsis, Theresa "Terri-Lynn" Hubbard (Gregory Cotton), Saint John, sisters; Helen (Mac) Carscallen, Kingston, Ont; Guylyn Connors, Tulsa, Oklahoma, grandchildren; David, Daniel and Joseph Harding, Candace (Kale Harding), Matthew and Tara Wilson, Amanda Hubbard, Rhiannon Cormier, great - grandchildren; Sydney Prince-Harding, twins Sarah, Jessica and Shannon Harding, Alex, Emma Cunningham and Allyson Hubbard-Stanley. She was predeceased by sisters, Joan Beattie, Sister Patricia Belding (Sisters of Charity), brothers, Gerald "Bud", Donald, James and Arnold.
Resting at Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. (634-1701). A Celebration of Her Life will take place on Saturday, July 31, 2010 from 2 to 3 p.m. at the Fallsview Family Reception Centre.
