The passing of Bernice Louise Knutson, of Elbow, Sask. occurred on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at the Moose Jaw Union Hospital, at the age of 90 years. Bernice is survived by her family, Shirley Knutson of Elbow, Debbie (Tom) Beech of Moose Jaw, and Darlene (Kent) Ruuth of Loreburn, Sask.; four grandchildren, Alesia (Greg) Risler, Clinton Ruuth, Randi (Darrell) Kirkby, and Mallory Beech; four great-grandchildren, Camille, Garrett, Caleb and Callee; one brother, Mel (Margaret) Langager of Elbow; one sister, Mabel Mostad of Vancouver; and numerous nieces, nephews, and in-laws. She was predeceased by her husband, Gay Knutson (2003); three brothers, Jonas, Nils, Gordon; and by two sisters, Olga and Bertha. A private family graveside service for family and extended relatives will be held on Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at the Elbow Cemetery, Elbow, Sask. with Pastor Dave Hesje officiating. Bernice's many friends and neighbors are welcome to attend a time of lunch and fellowship at the Elbow Civic Centre at approx. 2:30 P.M.
