1942 - 2010 - Miramichi - Vincent Joseph Cable, husband of Julia Cable, of the Weldfield Collette Road, Napan, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Friday, July 30, 2010, at the age of 67. Born in Weldfield, on October 7, 1942, he was the son of the late William and Myrtle (Scott) Cable. He was self employed in the trucking business and attended St. Marys Anglican Church, Miramichi. He is survived by his wife, the former Julia Miller; one daughter, Wendy Dickson (John), of Miramichi; three sons, Vincent Cable Jr. (Theresa), of Upper Black River, Carl Cable (Mavis), of Weldfield Collette Road, Bruce Cable (Colleen), of Hillsboro, Ont.; four sisters, Jean MacKnight, of Port Alberni, B.C., Stella Gilliss, of Napan, Grace Cook (Joe), of Elliott Lake, Ont., Beryl McKnight (Raymond), of Weldfield Collette Road; one brother, Donald Cable (June), of Weldfield Collette Road; nine grandchildren, Tina, Joel, Keri, Carlena, Vicky, Steven, Andrew, Samatha, Christopher; two great grandchildren, Jenessa, Seth. He was predeceased by one sister, Gladys Hackett; two brothers, Kenneth (Bud) and William Cable Jr.
Visiting will be at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., Miramichi, on Sunday only, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held from Adams Funeral Home Chapel, on Monday, August 2, 2010, at 3 pm, conducted by Rev. Gordon Thompson. Interment will be in St. Pauls Anglican Cemetery, Miramichi. As expressions of sympathy, donations to any charity of the donors' choice, would be appreciated by the family.
