An Angel On Earth Now In Heaven
Hank Michael Maynard Reid
PICTOU - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Dear Sweet Angel, Hank Michael Maynard Reid.
Born at the Grace Maternity, Thursday, July 29, 2010, and has now joined the Angels in Heaven on Saturday, July 31, 2010.
Baby Hank will always and forever be in the loving and caring hearts of his mother, Jacqueline Reid and father, Larry Reid. Baby Hank's big sister Gabrielle Reid (six months) will remember her little brother for his gifts of strength and love that he has given to everyone who has had the chance to spend time with our Special Angel Hank.
The cherished memories of Hank will never fade and will always be remembered by his maternal granparents Denise LeBlanc (Pictou) and Shannon MacNeill (New Glasgow), great-grandparents Walter and Eileen LeBlanc (Pictou), paternal grandparents Ricky and Beryl Reid (Alberta), great-grandparents Henry and Elaine Forward (River John), and Jean Reid (River John), aunts Sheena LeBlanc (Pictou), Hanna MacKenzie (Pictou), and Trina Forward (Alberta), uncle Terry Reid (Alberta), godparents Dan Watters (Halifax) and Laurie Jollymore (River John), special great-uncle Michael LeBlanc (Pictou) and many other loving great aunts and uncles and numerous cousins. Our Silent Angel, so strong and brave has given us strength in Spiritual Guidance that will last forever.
A ceremony for our Special Angel Hank will be held at The Stella Maris Parish at 11 a.m. Thursday August 5, 2010, with burial to follow at Seaview Cemetary with Father Peter MacDonald officiating. Donations may be made in Hank's honour to the third floor NICU at the Grace Maternity, or the Aberdeen Pediatric Ward.
An Angel flies high in the sky,
A butterfly and the breeze blows by,
Surrounds you with the love you need,
Even though it's so hard to breathe.
A gift, your Son, his time so brief,
Surrounded with those to help you grieve,
Your family, your friends, love you so dear,
Remeber Baby Hank is never far, always near
