After a lengthy period of failing health, the death of Brenda Ouellet of Quispamsis, NB, wife of Zoel Ouellet occurred Tuesday, August 3rd, 2010, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, NB, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Florence (Fudge) Clark. Prior to her retirement, Brenda was employed as a nurse. Throughout her career she worked at Centracare, the Saint John Regional Hospital and at various clinics and homes throughout Saint John. She will be sadly missed by all those who were fortunate enough to have known her. Brenda's devotion to her family and friends will never be forgotten. She was a faithful member of the parish of St. Mark's. Besides her husband, Zoel, Brenda is also survived by one daughter, Maria Ouellet of Quispamsis; two sons, Michael Ouellet of Quispamsis and Marc Ouellet (Amanda) of Kingston; one sister, Dawn Marie Van Beelen (Jack) of Clifton Royal, two brothers, John "Jack" Clark (Marjorie) of Florida and Murray Clark of Moncton; sister-in-law, Joanne Clark of Quispamsis; several nieces and nephews. Brenda was predeceased by one brother, Donald Clark.
Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, NB, (506) 849-2119 with visitation on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Vigil Prayers will be held Thursday evening at 8:00 PM, at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Mark's Catholic Church, 171 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, on Friday, August 6th, 2010 at 10:00 AM. A reception will immediately follow the Mass, at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home. Following cremation, interment will take place in St. Bridget's Catholic Cemetery, Chapel Grove.
