Passed away peacefully on August 15, 2010, at Carbonear General Hospital, Wayne Coombs of Bay Roberts, age 58 years. A loving husband, father and devoted teacher. Predeceased by father Alfred Charles Coombs, stepfather Charles Warren and father-in-law Fred Mercer. Left with many fond and loving memories his wife of seventeen years Eva Coombs, son Theo Coombs (mother Valerie Legge) and his girlfriend Jordan Stead; mother Maisie Warren, brothers Leslie (Burnadette) and Raymond (Luanne) of Kitchener, Ontario; Robert (Daphne) of Halifax, Nova Scotia; and sister Louise Doughty of Calgary, Alberta. Also leaving to mourn brothers-in-law Gary (Gloria) and Everett Mercer and a large circle of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation to take place on Monday, August 16th from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and on Tuesday, August 17th from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Lynch's Funeral Home in Spaniard's Bay. Funeral service to be held at Holy Redeemer Anglican Church in Spaniard's Bay on Tuesday, August 16th at 2 p.m. Burial service to follow at a later date. No flowers by request, but donations to Holy Redeemer Anglican Church, or a charity of one's choice are gratefully accepted.
