Passed peacefully away at Dr. G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital Clarenville on Friday August 13, 2010, Francis Furlong of Plate Cove West aged 68 years. Predeceased by parents, James and Bride Furlong, Infant brother Sam, brothers in law James Furlong and Charlie Quinton. Left with fond and loving memories, daughters Gloria (Wilf), Geraldine (Tom); son Danny (Fronie); brother Jim (Bess); sisters Winnie, Mary Ellen, Martha (Sam), Isabelle (Johnny), Madeline (Bill); grandchildren Christopher, Clint, Danielle, Joey, Holly and Jessie Ann, and a large circle of family and friends. Rested at St. Patrick's Church, Plate Cove. Funeral service officiated by Father David Joy took place on Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at St. Patrick's Church, Plate Cove with interment at R.C. Cemetery, Plate Cove East. Funeral Arrangements entrusted to Vardy's Funeral Home Random Island.
