WALSH, FRANCES PATRICIA
"FRAN"
Frances P. Walsh of Fredericton passed away on August 21, 2010 at the York Manor Care Center at the age of 76. Born in Fredericton, NB on January 1, 1934 to the late Guy and Ruby (Minue) Dunbar.
Fran worked for the Government of New Brunswick in Income Assistance for many years. She also enjoyed many years at Grand Lake with her many friends.
Survived by her husband Ralph; sons Gary Cogswell (Bernie) and Mike Cogswell all of Fredericton; grandson Calder Cogswell (Amanda) and his mother Linda of Fredericton; brothers Ron Dunbar (Joyce) of Ontario, Junior (Guy) Dunbar of Fredericton; sister Marion Dempsey of Ontario; several nieces and nephews; best friends Annie and Glenn Flinn. Predeceased by a brother Hilton; sister Lillian Fletcher; brother in laws Gerald Fletcher and Robbie Dempsey.
Cremation will take place. A funeral service will be held at Bishop's Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road Fredericton, NB. on Wednesday August 25, 2010 at 2 PM with Rev. Laurie Fenerty officiating. Reception to follow at the Funeral Home. Interment in the Sunny Bank Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Diabetic Association, Liver Foundation or the Alzheimer's Society.
