Passed away peacefully in Owen Sound, Ont., on Aug. 16, 2010 at the age of 79.
He was the dearly loved husband of Amy (Cohen) Walsh and the late Bernadette 'Bunny' Theberge. A loving father to Wayne (Karen) Walsh of Acton, Theresa (Paul) Koutzodimos of Brampton, Colleen (Jim) Penney of Orangeville, Marie Ivanyshyn of Georgetown and stepchildren, Michael (Laura) Gauthier of Owen Sound, Bradley (Jan) Wilkson of Windsor, Susan (Whitney) King of USA and Philip Gauthier of Newmarket. He was the proud grandfather of Chris, Jennifer, Shawn, Jamie, Kenny, Ryan, Brittany, Joshua, Stephanie, Joshua, Bryan and Kevin and step great-grandfather of Thea Beth. Mick was the dear brother of Graham (Sadie) Walsh of Sydney and Janet (John) Bearnes of Glace Bay.
He was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Katheleen Walsh; his stepson, Ronald and his siblings, Charlie and Thomas Walsh, Helen McLean, Madeline 'Maddie' MacKinnon, Marge MacPherson, Mary Mercer, Alice James and Bessie Baker.
Funeral service was held August 19, 2010, in Owen Sound.
