Eva Nelson, of Moose Jaw and formerly of Pasqua, SK, passed away on August 26, 2010. Eva was born on June 25, 1920 in Wymark, SK to Peter and Mina Bueckert. She married Will Nelson in 1966 and lived in Pasqua until she moved to Providence Place in Moose Jaw. She is predeceased by her husband Will Nelson in 2003, brothers Henry, John, and Peter Bueckert and sisters Katarina Wall and Agnes Matthewson. Eva is survived by her brother Ben (Maxine) Bueckert of Black Diamond, AB; sister Elizabeth Bueckert of Moose Jaw; sisters-in-law Mary Bueckert of Blairmore, AB, and Pauline Marshall of Winnipeg; Will's niece Wilda Smith of Winnipeg, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Providence Place for the compassionate care Eva received during her many years as a resident there. A Service of Remembrance will be held at W.J. Jones & Son Chapel on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at 1:30 pm. Reverend Lynne Clarke will officiate. Memorialization will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. Memorials to a charity of choice would be appreciated. In living memory of Eva, a tree will be planted in Besant Park by W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Home.
