Passed quietly into the presence of God at the Health Sciences Complex on Wednesday, September 1st, 2010 after a short illness, age 82 years. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 58 years, Mercedes and his five children: Donna (Bill) Batten,, Mary (Wayne) Baird, Gerald (Linda), Gary (Brenda) and Chrissy (Clayton) Delaney. Also left to grieve, eleven grandchildren: Juanita, Rodney, Tanya, Stephen, Curtis, Craig, Bradley, Gail, Pamela, Zane and Brianna; six great-grandchildren and a wide circle of extended family and friends. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Thursday and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Saturday 10-12 noon. Funeral service in Faith Pentecostal Church, Foxtrap Access Road on Saturday, September 4, 2010 at 2 p.m. Interment in Faith Pentecostal Cemetery, Readers Hill Road, Long Pond.
