At the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Thursday, September 2, 2010, of Lucy Ellen Semple of Perrin's Clinton View Lodge, Clinton, and formerly of Kensington, age 94 years.
Born in Sea View on April 5, 1916, daughter of the late John and Dora (Donald) Brown.
Wife of the late Frederick T. (Fred) Semple, who she married in 1938. Mother of Myrna (Charles) Bond, Peach Tree City, Georgia, U.S.A.; Bill Semple, Kensington, wife Janie Genereux, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; and Bob (Ann) Semple, Halifax, Nova Scotia. Grandmother of Pamela (Craig) Ohmsieder, Chad (Tonya) Bond, Laura (Chris) Peters, Leigh Semple, Charity, Andrew (Elizabeth), James (Stephanie) and William Semple; and great-grandmother to Harrison, Caroline and Katherine Ohmsieder, Andrew and Elle Peters. Also survived by daughter-in-law, Bev Stetson-Semple, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, where visitation and funeral service will be held at a time and date to be announced.
