Joseph 'Joe' Whitehouse, born July 17, 1948, in New Waterford, Cape Breton, N.S. A longtime Professional Golfer - a love for the game like no other.
With heavy hearts we announce that after a hard-fought battle with melanoma cancer, surrounded by loved ones, Joe passed away peacefully Sept. 11, 2010, at the age of 62, at his home in Arthur, Ont.
Loving son of Madeline and Robert Whitehouse (deceased). Beloved best friend of Donna and her children, Katherine and Thomas. Father of daughters, Christine and Jody; grandfather of five. Loving dear brother to Eleanor Ellis (Norm), Roberta Jones (Richard), Marsha Giammattolo (Michael), Raymond Whitehouse (Ruth). Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
