Peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital with her family at her side on Sunday, September 19, 2010. Born February 9, 1934 in Pictou, Nova Scotia. Wife of the late William Stewart; predeceased by infant son Philip and infant daughter Mary. Loving mother of Billy (Nancy), Alicia (Fred) Homewood, Johanna (Ken) Yantha, Patricia (Gerry) Murphy, Joey (Lorie) and Ronnie. Dear grandmother of 14 grandkids and 21 great-grandkids; predeceased by four sisters and four brothers and survived by numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Thorpe Brothers Funeral Home and Chapel, 96 West Street, Brantford, Ontario on Wednesday, September 22nd from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Parish prayers at 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Basil's Church, 50 Palace Street, Brantford, on Thursday at 10 a.m. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery.
