It is with great sadness that they announce the passing of Freeman House on Saturday, September 25th, 2010, at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook, surrounded by his loving family, in his 83rd, year. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife; Ellen (Nellie) House (nee Hopkins) his children; Valetta (Gary) Lawrence and her family from Fort McMurray, Alberta, Frazer (Leslie) House and family from Cold Lake, Alberta; Blayne (Dorothy) House and family from Pasadena, N.L;Darrel (Karen) House and family from Brooklyn, Nova Scotia; Trent (Sandra) House and family from Cranbrook, British Columbia; step son David (Oveta) Hopkins and family from Marathon, Ontario; and step daughter in law Sharon Hopkins and family from Corner Brook, N.L. His brother; Mack (Eileen) House from Hawkes Bay, N.L. and sister in law Elizabeth House from Bellburns, N.L. 14 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren, and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Father was predeceased by his parents; Jessie & Gertrude House, sisters; Viola (Fred) Collins; Thelma (Jacob) Smith; and Rachel House; and brothers; Riley House; & Reginald House & stepson; Donald Hopkins. The family will be receiving family and friends from the St. Aiden's Anglican Church in Bellburns, today, Monday, September, 27th, 2010, from the hours of 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm. Where also the funeral service will take place from on Tuesday, September 27th, 2010, at 2 pm with the Rt: Rev: Leonard Whitten officiating with the burial to follow at the church cemetery in Spudges Cove. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in Freeman's Memory would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
