RIVERVIEW - George Daniel Gerrior (Hook) of Riverview passed away at the Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, September 28, 2010, with his loving family at his side.
Born October 26, 1956 in New Glasgow, NS, he was the son of the late John and Margaret (Hale) Gerrior.
For the last few years Hook was employed with Rolly's Wholesalers.
He is survived by his loving wife Elly, step-daughter Jennifer Gerrior of Moncton, six sisters: Ann Robley (Greg) of Durham, NS, Kay Gerrior of Toronto, ON, Eunice MacKay (Ivan) of Thorburn, NS, Dorothy Gerrior of New Glasgow, NS, Betty Lister (Dan) of Wolfville, NS and Kim Chapman of Red Deer, AB, a brother; Robert (Nikkie) of Bermuda, two grandchildren Taylor and Zachary.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by a brother, John.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Cobb's Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Road, Riverview (869-2007) on Thursday, September 30 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Friday, October 1 at 2 p.m., from Cobb's Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with interment to follow at Steeves Mountain Cemetery.
Donations in Hook's memory made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
