of St. John's, NL, formerly of Dartmouth, NS, passed away on Sept. 26, 2010 in his 89th year. Born in Dartmouth, NS, he was the son of the late Clarence Sr. and Perla (Weeks) Hatton. Before he retired he worked for the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary as a Supply Officer. He was also a member of the Shriners. Laurie was predeceased by his wife Mary Ann (Bennett) and sister Lorna Cameron. He is survived by his brothers Clarence (Mose), Dartmouth, Jerry, Robinsville, New Jersey, USA and sister Meta Moquin, Dartmouth, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave., St. John's, NL on Friday, October 1st, 2010 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Funeral service 2 p.m. on Friday, October 1st, 2010 from Barrett's Chapel.
