Maryalice Tofflemire (Robertson) 62, passed on quietly in Orangeville on Friday, October 1, 2010. Dearly beloved wife of Ted (Edward); daughter of Ruby and William (1998); mother to Kerri Hallman (Ken) and Jay Tofflemire (Kim); "Grandma" to eight grandchildren; brother to Gavin Robertson (Lorayne); "Aunt M" to her nieces and nephews; "Mom T" to her many spare children, and a dear friend who will be missed by many. Maryalice was a lay minister in Morinville, Alberta as well as a distinguished life-long Guider. She was awarded the Queen's Jubilee Medal for her selfless service to Girl Guides Canada, served as Deputy-Commissioner for the provinces of Ontario, New Brunswick and Alberta and as an International Trainer of other leaders.
Visitation to be at Victoria Greenlawn Memorial Chapel, 1525 Hwy#3, Windsor from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday October 7, 2010. A service of Celebration of Maryalice's Life will be held on Friday, October 8, 2010 at 11 a.m. at St. Stephen's Anglican Church, Oldcastle, (5280 Howard Avenue, South of the 401). Interment to follow at Victoria Greenlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Parkinson's Society.
