- Passed peacefully away at the Interfaith Citizen's Home, Carbonear on Saturday, October 2, 2010, Margaret I. Udell Adams of Carbonear, in her 100th year. Predeceased by husband: Jack Adams; parents: John and Mabel Udell; brothers: Graham, John, William and Alec; sisters: Emma, Mary and Dorothy. Left to mourn with cherished memories are her brother: Harold (Bernice), St. John's; nephew: John; nieces Marilyn, Jane (Phil), Elinor, Margaret (David), Janice, Joyce and Nancy; also a number of other relatives and friends of Elizabeth Towers, St. David's Presbyterian Church, the IODE, the Seniors Resource Center, all of St. John's, the Community Library, Corner Brook and Beta Sigma Phi. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Rev. Brian Colbourne conducted the funeral service on Tuesday, October 5 at Bethany United Church, Carbonear. Interment took place in Bethany United Cemetery, Carbonear. Donations in her memory may be made to Bethany United Cemetery, Carbonear.
