Passed suddenly and peacefully away in the presence of his loving wife, in his 65th year, Eugene Griffiths of Ship Harbour. Predeceased
by his parents, John and Elizabeth; brothers Patrick and Pius; sisters Rose, Rebecca, Elizabeth and Germaine. Leaving to mourn his wife Joan (Power); brothers Mike (Beth), Leo, Val (Ann), Jack (Matilda), and Fergus(Catherine); sisters Matilda, Mary (Cyril) and Theresa (John); in-laws Agnes (David), Bernadette (Harry), Alec (Jose), Frankie (Jeanette), Angela Power, Bernard Whyte and Emily Griffiths; aunt, Margaret Griffiths; special
nephews Nathan and Matthew and special niece Kaitlyn; God children Bonita Whyte and Tess Culleton; special friends Bill Power (Pauline) and Derek Tucker (Patti), also a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia. Visitation on Sunday and Monday Oct. 10-11, 2-9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Tuesday, Oct. 12 at 1 p.m. at St. Theresa's Church, Ship Harbour. Interment to follow in Ship Harbour Cemetery.
