Passed peacefully away at St. Luke’s Homes with family by his side on Wednesday, June 10, 2009, Kevin Power, aged 84 years. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 55 years, Gertrude Power (Meaney) and four children: Donna Wadden (Gary), Doreen Cahill (Fred), Tina Power Hann (Fabian) and Kevin (Krista); as well as nine grandchildren; Jennifer, David, Danny, Tommy, Paddy, Tiana, Stephanie, Nicholas and Katie. Predeceased by parents George and Mary Power, brothers Jack, Gerald, George and Tom and sisters Susan, Zita and Mary. Special thanks to all the staff of St. Luke’s Homes for their care and kindness. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Friday, June 12th at 9:30 a.m. from St. Teresa’s Church. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to St. Luke’s Homes.
