Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on June 12th, 2009. Michael Joseph Cahill, age 85 years. Predeceased by his first wife Edna Cahill. Leaving to mourn his loving and cherished wife Louise; sons Michael (Colleen), Larry (Kathy), Randy (Pam), Perry (Williamina) and loving daughter Moya (Dennis), Vancouver, B.C.; his grandchildren who were the light of his life Sarah (Our Sarah) and Jessica and their mother Catherine; Nancy, Geoff, Amy, Jillian, Amanda, Mackenzie, Perry, Stephen and Emily; sisters-in-law Adelaide (Eric) Cluney, Peggy (Job) Parsons, Claudette (Freeman) Keats, Marilyn (Fred) Mills ; one brother-in-law Steve (Donna) Callahan; special nephew Nicholas Callahan; lifelong best friends Joseph and Loretta O’Toole and close family friend Jack Fitzgerald. As well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, especially Mary-Lou and Elvis. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Sunday from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Cremation to follow. Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, June 15th, 2009 at a time to be announced from Mary Queen of Peace Church, Torbay Road. Inurnment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. No flowers by request. Donations in his memory can be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Society.
