It is with great sadness that the family of the late Elvis Lewis announce his sudden passing on Sunday, October 17, 2010 at the age of 53 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 24 years Helene Penney; two loving sons: Justin (Robin Blanchard) and Nigel; mother Melba Lewis; sister Jeanette Brake; brothers: Tony (Carol Ann), Wallace (Pamela) Vernon (Sandra) and Darren (Linda); father-in-law Earl Penney; sisters-in-law Olive (Larry) Strickland, Dorothy (Allan) Noseworthy, Isabel Penney and Kay Penney; brothers-in-law: Alex (Elizabeth), Tom (Sharon), Dave (Patty), Boyd (Susan), Keith (Dawn) and Rod (Sherry); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father Howard Lewis, sister Joy Lewis, baby brother Randy Lewis, brother-in-law Ralous Brake and mother-in-law Rosanna Penney. Friends may visit Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Meadows on Wednesday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. from where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 21 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Malcolm Palmer officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
