Peacefully passed away on Sunday, Oct. 17, 2010. She is reunited with her husband Allen P. Smith.
Valerie will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her stepdaughters, Barbara (Dana) Stevens and Sara (Don) Nordquist her step-grandchildren, Adrienne (Chris) Kivell and Aaron Stevens and her step great-grandchildren, Sydney, Madeline and Cody. Valerie's memory will be cherished in the hearts of her many family members and friends.
Family and friends will be received on Monday, Oct. 25, 2010 at the Jerrett Funeral Home (6191 Yonge St., two lights south of Steeles Ave.) from 11 a.m. until the time of service in the chapel at 12 p.m. Interment to follow at Highland Memory Gardens.
In Memoriam donations may be made to North York General Hospital or to a charity of choice.
