The death occurred at the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside, on Friday, Oct. 22, 2010, of Glen MacKinnon, of Summerside, aged 96 years. Born in Tyne Valley, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Ann (Ellis) Williams. Survived by her children Frances (Paul) Arsenault, Shirley (Wayne) Roberts, Gary (Valerie) MacKinnon, Gloria (John) McCarthy, Sharon MacKinnon (Daniel Dezainde), 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister Erma Gorril. Predeceased by her husband William "Bill" MacKinnon; sons William Jr. and Paul; sisters Evelyn Wood; Ella MacLean; Elva Williams; Orel Williams; and her brother Hinson Williams. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, (98 Water Street - private entrance in rear of Waterfront Mall - former S.R.D.C. Office), until Monday, then to Central Lot 16 United Church, for funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Central Lot 16 United Church Cemetery. Visiting hours Sunday from 2-5 p.m. Memorial donations to the Lot 16 United Church Cemetery, the Parkinson Society, or the Wedgewood Manor Memorial Trust Fund would be appreciated.
