STELLARTON - Kathryn Ann MacDonald, 51 of Pleasant Street, Stellarton, passed away October 24, 2010 in the Queen Elizabeth II Hospital, Infirmary Site, Halifax.
Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late Don and Doris (Briggs) Dickson.
She was a resident of Stellarton for most of her life where she was a school teacher at G.R. Saunders Elementary School and a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband, Rory MacDonald, Stellarton; a daughter, Maura, Mount Allison, New Brunswick; a son, Mason, Wolfville; a sister, Donna (Mike) Rowden, Kingston, Ontario; brothers, Stephen (Phyllis), Lyons Brook; and Mike (Janet), West Loon Lake; many nieces and nephews.
Cremation to take place. The family will receive visitors from 9:45 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Thursday in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow, from where a memorial service will be held 11:30 a.m. with Father Bill Rankin presiding. Burial of ashes to take place in Our Lady of Lourdes parish cemetery, Stellarton.
