Retired from Domtar after 41 years, peacefully at Extendicare, Mississauga, Ont., Monday, Oct. 25, 2010, in her 83rd year.
Daughter of the late Hugh Roper and Alice (nee MacLennan) of Sydney Mines, N.S.
Predeceased by her siblings, Emerson and Arthur Roper.
Survived by her sister-in-law, Jessie Roper, Sydney Mines; nieces, Ann Ledgerwood, P.E.I., Lynn Roper (Kenzie), Sydney, and Ian Roper (Chris), Halifax and their families.
Louise is also predeceased by longtime friend Dennis Sutherland.
Cremation has taken place and a family memorial service will be held at a later date in Nova Scotia, followed by burial in the family plot in Cape Breton.
