1927-2010
Eleonore Richard, 83 of Foyer Saint-Antoine and formerly of Richiboucto-Village, passed away at the Foyer Saint-Antoine on Friday, October 29, 2010. She was married to the late Emile Richard (2003).
Born in Richiboucto-Village on March 16, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Clorice and the late Rose (Boucher) Léger.
She will be sadly missed by her six children, Rose-Marie Williams (Camille), Andréa Petitpas (Ivan), both of Saint-Sosime, Linda Schleuter (Steve), of Kitchener, ON, Cathy Richard, of Moncton, Roger (Rose), of Minto, and Guy (Anne-Marie), of Leominster, MA; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She also leaves to mourn her seven brothers, Exibé (Alphonsine), Gerald (Rita), both of Richiboucto, Aurèle (Dora), of Bedec, Henri (Dorice), Ola (Laurianne), both of Richiboucto-Village, Joséphat (Régina), of Bouctouche, Léo-Paul, of Petit-Rocher; and several nephews and nieces.
Eleonore was predeceased by two sisters, Geneva and Aline; and two brothers, Léon and Armand.
Visitation will be held at the Saint-Antoine de Padoue Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Richiboucto-Village, on Sunday October 31, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and on Monday from 9 to 10:45 am. Funeral Mass will be at the Richiboucto-Village Church on Monday, November 1, 2010 at 11:00 am, with internment in the parish cemetery.
In Eleonore's memory, donations can be made to the Foyer Saint-Antoine or to the Alzheimer Society.
