Rachel Wilder (Clothier) passed away October 31, 2010 at the age of 93. She was born and raised on the farm in the Buttress District. Rachel married Gordon Wilder in 1935 where they farmed in the Archive District. For many years she helped with the farming, milking cows, hauling grain, etc. She was an active member in the Newberry Community Club and Square Dance Club. She moved to Chateau St. Michael in 2007 and to Pioneer Lodge in 2010. Rachel is predeceased by her parents Rheuben and Leta Clothier; husband Gordon in 1976; infant daughter Ester; grandson Robert (Boh Williams) 2006; half-brothers Raymond and Gren (Dot); brothers Leonard (Vera) Elwood and Harold; and brother-in-law Jim McKenzie. She is survived by her son Don (Betty), their children Ron (Lynn), Devin, Mariah, Dave (Lana), Connor and Ashley; Darlene (Brent) Mackey, Shelby and Braydon; daughter, Marion (Don) Williams, their daughter Debbie Sears (Jim), Lisa (Kevin), Gregory (Tanya); sister Ruby McKenzie; sister-in-law Dorothy and Violet; many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 8, 2010 at W. J. Jones and Son Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Della Ferguson will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 150 Albert St., Regina, S4R 2R2 or the Canadian Cancer Society, 61B Ross St. W., Moose Jaw, S6H 2M2.
