Maybelle McLees passed away peacefully on November 3, 2010 at the age of 93. Maybelle was born August 24, 1917 in Whitewood, Sask, the third youngest of nine children. She touched many people’s lives with her great warmth, wit and humour. She was predeceased by her loving husband Allan of 61 years; her parents, Daniel and Johnina McKinnon and numerous siblings. She is survived by her brother Bill; nieces Ardele (George), Lorraine (Bob), Doris (Ernie), Lynn (David) and nephews Daniel (Anne), Keith (Sylvia), Wayne, Ken (Doreen), Graham (Sharon) and Ron (Sandy). The Celebration of Maybelle’s life will be held at W.J.Jones & Son Chapel on Saturday November 13, 2010 at 1:30 pm. Reverend David Moore will officiate. Memorialization will take place at Rosedale Cemetery. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff at Extendicare for their wonderful care of Maybelle during her time there.
