FARCEY, Michael Allan “Mike - Beer Belly” - 51, Wolfville, Kings Co., formerly of Aylesford, Kings Co. Mike’s family is sad to announce the passing away of a loving father, grandfather and true friend on Monday, November 1, 2010, at home. Born in Ottawa, Ont., he was a son of the late Allan and Jackie (Ash) Farcey. Surviving is the love of his life, Mary E. Tarbox, Timberlea; son, Justin Farcey; daughter, Ashley Lynn (Peter Maybury) Farcey, granddaughter, Autom Tanner Saltzman, all of Middleton; brother, David (France Martell) Farcey, Ottawa; niece, Chelsea Farcey. Mike will be sadly missed by friends, Doug, Dirtball, Tammy, Billy, Lonie, J.K., Didy, Percy, Jen, Deb and Art, as well as many more friends at the Old English Tavern, Kentville. His love of Harley Davidson Motorcycles took him on many road trips and adventures. Mike was always the life of any party and was usually the last one standing, earning him the name “Beer Belly”. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Shawn. Visitation for Mike was held from 7-9 p.m., Friday, November 5, in the Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home, 192 Commercial St., Berwick, N.S., B0P 1E0, (902-538-9900), from where the funeral service took place at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 6. Rev. Fr. Craig Christenson officiated, with burial in the Aylesford Union Cemetery. Donations in his memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
