Eugénie Corrmier, 98, of Villa Acadie, Acadieville, formerly of St-Paul-de-Kent, passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at The Miramichi Hospital. Born February 2, 1912 in Saint-Louis, she was the daughter of the late Ubald and Suzanne (Comeau) LeBlanc. She is survived by her step-children: Dolor “Joe” Gallant of Chicago, Florine Arsenault (Aimé) of St-Paul, Délia Arsenault of Bonaventure, Qc., Lorette Brun (Donald) of Florida, Normand Cormier (Germaine) of Shediac River, many step-grand-children, step-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was the last survivor of her immediate family. She is predeceased by her first husband, Arsène Gallant (1962); her second husband, Arthur Cormier (1977); her step-children: Augustin Gallant, Eugénie Bourgeois, Honoré and Alcide Cormier; her brothers and sisters: Elizabeth Doucette, Arthur, Adolphe, and Edmond LeBlanc.
The family will receive condolences Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Saint-Paul-de-Kent Parish Church from where the funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 15 at 7 p.m. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
