The passing of Edwin Ralph “Ed” Rivenbark of New Maryland, NB occurred on Sunday, November 14, 2010 at home. Born on September 17, 1943 in New York City, USA, he was the son of the late Winnetta (Rose) Rivenbark. He was an Engineer with Stantec Consulting. Ed was a proud father and grandfather. Ed is survived by his children, Jenn Rivenbark and Sara (Duncan) Rivenbark Thornton all of Fredericton, NB and Leigh Rivenbark of Edmonton, AB and their mother, Sandra Rivenbark; grandchildren, Tyler, Maddison and Fallon; brother, Paul (Judy) Rivenbark of Westport, ON; niece and nephew, Susan and Michael.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Memorial Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Thursday, November 18, 2010 at 2 pm with Rev. Gil MacKenzie officiating. Interment will take place in Nova Scotia at a later date.
