Sara Melanson, 79, wife of the late Robert Melanson (2000) of Saint André passed away on Monday, November 15, 2010 at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton. Born in Cap Pelé, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Dométhilde (Cormier) LeBlanc. She is survived by her loving family, two daughters: Irène Boudreau (Michel) of Grand Barachois and Géraldine Melanson of Cap Pelé, three sons: Gérald (Charlotte) of Riverview, Guy (Juliette) and Irénée both of Grand Barachois; three brothers: Aimée LeBlanc of Mount Forest, ON, Patrick LeBlanc (Eva) and Mathias LeBlanc (Marie-Mai) both of Cap Pelé; eleven grandchildren: Nathalie, Julia, Mario, Jérémie, Stephanie, Jennifer, Martin, Mélanie, Isabelle, Jonathan and Colleen; three great grandchildren: Amy, Jesse and Jislin; nine brothers-in-laws and sisters-in-laws, and by many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she is also predeceased by a stillborn son Joseph, four sisters: Marie Blanche, Yvonne, Malthide and infant Florida and seven brothers: Didas, Arthur, Dismas, Dosithée, Edgar, Ligouri and Tilmon.
Visitation at Funérarium Frenette, 2642 Acadie Rd., Cap Pelé (577-3297) on Wednesday, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday, from 9:30 a.m. until time of departure at 10:20 a.m. Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, November 18, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at Ste. Thérèse d'Avila Roman Catholic Church, Cap Pelé. Interment in the parish cemetery. Donations in Sara's memory to the Tree of Hope Foundation of the Dr. Georges L.
