1914 - 2009. Passed peacefully away in the presence of his family of June 18, 2009 at the Agnes Pratt Nursing Home. Predeceased by his father John, mother Bridget and wife Margaret (Walsh). Leaving to mourn his sister Mary Ann Turner of Buchans; sons Frank (Heather), Harold (Janice), David, Gordon; daughters Mary Ann and Catherine Steele (Richard). Also left to mourn, grandchildren Matthew, Darren, Nicholas, Francis and Victoria Ryan; step-grandchildren Ryan and Richard Steele, along with a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Saturday 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Monday, June 22 at 9:30 a.m. from Mary Queen of the World Parish, Topsail Road. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
