Peacefully, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2010, of Mrs. Olga Peters (nee Bernard) of Scotchfort, age 69 years.
Beloved wife of the late Joseph Schurman Peters and dear mother of John Daniel (Patti) Peters, Virginia (Rick) Langley, Ivan (Freda) Peters, Victoria Peters (Vincent Marshall), Ruby Peters, Nancy Peters, and Lawrence Peters. She is also lovingly remembered by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her brother, Ivan Bernard, and godchildren, Geraldine Jadis, Robert Sheabs, Jamie Sark and John Daniel Jr. Peters.
She was predeceased by her children, Mary Lorraine, Joseph Mathew and baby Christopher; sisters, Cecelia Labobe, Hazel Peter Paul; and brothers, George Bernard, Sterling Bernard, Freeman Bernard, Lee Bernard, John Henry Bernard and Richard Bernard.
Her remains will be resting at her late residence, 7 Schurman Lane, Scotchfort, P.E.I., from Wednesday evening until time of funeral.
The funeral will be held on Saturday with funeral mass from St. Bonaventure’s Church, Tracadie, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Bonaventure’s Church Cemetery.
Completion of funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Hennessey Funeral Home.
