The death of Helen Christina (Teeny) Neill, age 78, wife of Charles Neill of Springfield, NB, occurred at the Great Oaks Special Care Home, McDonald’s Point, NB, NB, on Tuesday, November 16, 2010. Teeny was born in Belleisle Creek, NB, on December 25, 1931, the daughter of the late Clarence and Kathleen (Folkins) Muir. She is survived by her husband Charlie; daughter Beth Neill of Sussex Corner; sons Jim and Barb Neill of Hampton, Paul and Debbie Neill of Hampton, and Bob and Ruth Neill of Miramichi; granddaughter Kalie; grandsons Jonathan and Ben and Courtney; great grandson Devin; sisters Margaret and Purdy McMillan, Belleisle Creek, and Eleanor and Brian McCafferty, Cambridge, ON; brother Lloyd and Irene Muir, Belleisle Creek; sister-in-law Donna Muir, Midland; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by grandsons Jeremy and Justin; brothers Ted, Malcolm and David Muir.
She is resting at Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, with visitation on Friday from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral service conducted by Rev. Preston Mowry, will be held from Hatfield Point Baptist Church, Hatfield Point, NB, at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 20, 2010. Interment will take place in adjoining Cemetery.
