On Thursday, December 2, 2010, Velma Jewsbury passed away in the General Hospital at the age of 77 years. Velma was born on June 3, 1933 in Lawson, SK. Predeceased by her parents, Marian and Mary Jane; husband, Ken (pops); brother, Bud (Muriel); sister, Irene (Harry). Velma is survived by her son Ian (Lori), grandkids Sunny, Gordy and Katy. With very special mention to 3 nieces and nephew, Tracy (Ken), Karen (Leonard), Joyce (Harry) and Keith (Debbie) - You were her "favs"! Our family would like to pass on an enormous thank you to all the attending medical professionals and support workers that helped "Gramma" as she battled through her declining health. The Memorial Service will be held at Hillsdale Baptist Church, 101 Munro Pl., Regina, SK on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Mogens Jorgensen officiating.
