Passed peacefully away on December 3, 2010 at the Carmelite House after a courageous battle with cancer, Denise Roberts of Grand Falls-Windsor. She was 50 years of age. Left to mourn are parents, David & Joan Wicks; brother, John Kennedy (Prudence), sisters, Donna (Garry Kelly), Joan (Michel Boulanger), Pamela (Wilfred Frampton), and Ashley Wicks. Also leaving to mourn are nieces, Kayleigh, Sacha, Erica, Jessica, Hannah; nephews, Joshua, Mathieu, and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Denise will be deeply missed by us all. She left us with the simple but important lesson to cherish the small things in life that make you happy, as she always did. Father William Houlahan conducted funeral services from St. Joseph's Parish on Tuesday December 6, 2010. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery. Pallbearers were Wilfred Frampton, John Kennedy, Garry Kelly, Larry Kennedy, Wayne King, and Bob Healey.
