Stanley J. Hancock-Aug. 1, 1931 - Nov. 13, 2010- Passed peacefully away at Palliative Care, North Haven Manor, Lewisporte, NL, Stanley Hancock, age 79 years from Laurenceton, formerly of Roddickton, White Bay. Forever loved and sadly missed by wife Martha; three daughters Greta (Freeman Stone), Jackie (Wayne Roberts), and Brenda (Troy Canning), one son Gregory; five stepchildren Myrtle (Jim Oake), Marina (Dwight Hewlett), Nancy (Keith Loveys), Chris Pardy (Linda), and Paul Pardy (Karen); four sisters Hazel Brenton, Fanny Simms, Irene (Wilfred Jacobs) and Rowena (Percy Hopkins); four grandchildren Mike, Chad, Nicholas and Erica; 10 step-grandchildren Matthew, David, Danny, Kristen, Gregory, Lisa, Mark, Annabel, Katherine and Alexis; two step-grandchildren Liam and Devlyn, and a large number of relatives and friends. The funeral service was held in Roddickton at the Pentecostal Church. Interment at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Roddickton.
