FREDERICKS, Yvonne Karen - 45, Granville Beach. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Yvonne on September 27, 2010, after a long five year courageous battle with malignant melanoma. Born in Annapolis Royal on October 9, 1964, she was a daughter of Ruth (Halliday) and the late Henry L. Fredericks Sr. Yvonne had a hard working attitude, a sunny disposition, kindness and willingness to help with anything. She will surely be missed by everyone who know her. She is survived by her loving mother, Ruth (Halliday), Granville Beach; eldest sister, Nanette (Peter), Halifax; younger sister, Suzette (Scott), Granville Beach; brothers, Henry L. Jr. (Linda), Granville Beach; David, Granville Beach; three nieces; three nephews; step-sisters, Rosalie, Dartmouth; Audrey and Jacqueline, Ontario. She will especially missed by nephew, Casey James, whom she called "little scamp." She was predeceased by her father, Henry L. Sr; younger brother Roderick; older twin sisters in infancy. Yvonne rested at the family home until funeral service at Granville Baptist Church on September 30, Rev. Elisabeth officiated. Burial was in the Halliday Family Cemetery. Donations in Yvonne's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
