On December 2, 2010 Mr. Wing San Wong passed away peacefully at the Villa Cathay Care Home in Vancouver, with his family by his side.

He is survived by his loving family, son Ken Ming (Linda) Wong; his son Chun Cho (Kuen Wah) Wong; his son Jan Ho (Po Kan) Wong; his daughter Betty (Chuck) Chow and his daughter Jean (Alan) Chow and his son-in-law Wai Ye Chow; his grandchildren Daisy Wong (Howard Giase), William Wong, Wesley Wong, Colin Wong, Phillip Wong, Billy Wong, Eric Wong, John Chow (Jenn), Lisa Chow (Mark), Frank Chow (Hai Xing Wong), Sam Chow and Angela Chow. His great grandchildren Jelena and Sienna.

Mr. Wong was predeceased by his daughter Wai Ye (Terry) Chow and his wife Chow Feng Wong.

Mr. Wong was born February 28, 1914 in China and came to Canada with his family in 1981. He enjoyed spending time in his garden and many neighbours and friends benefited from the vegetables that he grew. His generosity and kindness will be missed by all who knew him. He was an honest man and will be dearly missed by family.

The family wishes to thank the staff at the Villa Cathay Care Home in Vancouver and Dr. Andrew Louie for his exceptional care of dad.

Dr. Yeung will conduct the Funeral Service in the Schoening Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the family plot, Hillside Cemetery.
