Jennie Isabel Clamp - 94, formerly of Coldbrook, passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2010 in the Wolfville Nursing Home, Wolfville, Kings County. Born in Kentville, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Ada (Keddy) Arenburg. She was a member of the Weston Christian Fellowship and spent the winter months in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, where she fellowshipped with the Charlottetown Chapel. In her younger years she was an avid bowler and had been employed with Harry Lynch Taxi as a phone operator. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, homemaker and friend. She is survived by a daughter, Shirley Cohoon, Harrington, Prince Edward Island; two sons, Walter "Duke" (Doris), Cambridge; Douglas (Kay), Brampton; a sister, Mona Everett, New Brunswick; two brothers, Frank (Winnifred) and Robert (Joyce), both of Kentville; seven grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter; a son, George; a sister, Leona Hatfield; three brothers, Donald, Charles and Vernon. There was no visitation by family request. The funeral service, followed by a reception, was held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 13, 2010 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, Reverend Gary Horton officiated. Burial took place in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Kentville. No flowers by request. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice.
