Edna Mepham was born in Moose Jaw on October 3, 1920 to Albert and Gertie Dancey. Edna passed away Sunday December 12, 2010. She attended Victoria School, Central Collegiate and then took Interior Design in Toronto. Edna married Robert Mepham a farmer/welder in 1939. She worked for Klein's Paints and Thompson Framing as an interior decorator. She belonged to the Toastmistress Club and was president of the Lawn Bowling Club. Edna's interests included sewing, knitting, crocheting, needlework and decoupage as well as meeting friends for coffee, going out for supper, playing cards, camping and lawn bowling. Edna is predeceased by her parents; husband Robert; daughter-in-law Teresa; and her brothers and sisters. She is survived by her sons Robert of Lloydminster and Greg (Josie) of Moose Jaw and 6 grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at W. J. Jones and Son Chapel on Thursday December 16, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Dave Moore will officiate. Cremation with Memorialization will take place at Sunset Cemetery at a later date.
