Passed in: Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, Canada
Passed on: December 15th, 2010

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Leonard 'Len' Mulley on Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2010, in Hillside Pines Nursing Home, Bridgewater, where he had been residing.
Born in Sydney Mines, he was a son of the late J.W. and Marion (Harnen) Mulley. Len grew up in Florence, Cape Breton, where he enjoyed the companionship of his many brothers and sisters. Len joined the RCAF flying NATO missions all over the world until retirement in Greenwood, after 20 years of service. After retiring from the service, he wrote for and obtained his journeyman's electrical papers and returned to work for DND Greenwood where he finished his working career.
Len was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and hunting at his camp in Middle River, Cape Breton; where he also enjoyed visiting friends and family and would take great pleasure in rounding up a good game of cards.
While at home in the valley, Len also liked his cards, especially his poker night as well as tinkering with old cars. He was a real character and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Len is survived by his son, John Mulley (Susie Whynacht); brothers, John R. Mulley, Wesley Mulley, Wayne Mulley; sisters, Minnie MacLean, Mamie Johnstone.
He was predeceased by his wife, Ada (Gear) Mulley; brothers, Murdock, Angus, Bill, sisters, Ina Mae, Susan, Madeline.
Arrangements entrusted to Sweeny's Funeral Home, Bridgewater. A public graveside service will be 1 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 18, 2010, in Brookside Cemetery, Sydney Mines. Rev. David Luker officiating.
