It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of their wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and dear friend. Carol passed away suddenly at the age of 54 on Friday, December 10, 2010 at St. Paul's Hospital in Vancouver.

She is survived by her loving husband Allen; parents Walter and Phyllis Watts; her sister Sharon Watts (Brian); her two daughters Jacquie Symington (Andrew) and Christina Friesen (Sebastien); five grandchildren Emily, Julia, Brooke, Myles and Jeremy; her Aunt Yvonne (Tom); numerous cousins and extended family.

The family would like to thank all of the staff at R.I.H. and Dr. Ling and all the staff at St. Paul's for their tireless efforts and care.

A Celebration of Life in Carol's honour will be announced in the New Year.
