Murray King was born at Mount Dennis, Ontario on February 26, 1934 to parents Arthur and Lucy. Murray passed away Dec. 16, 2010. Murray and his wife, Ruth have lived in Moose Jaw for eighteen years. Murray owned and operated Murray's New and Used Furniture, and spent most of his life driving semis. Murray is predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Lucy; son, Anthony; sister, Lil; two brothers, Bob and Jim. Murray is survived by his wife, Ruth; two daughters, Valerie Mackie of Oshawa, Ontario and Karen (Randy) Vonk of Abbotsford, BC; two sons, Clifford of Regina, SK and Murray Jr. (Susan) of Edmonton, AB; his grandchildren; two sisters, Hazel Temple and Pat Doucette of Ontario; as well as several nieces and nephews. A Service of Remembrance will be held Monday December 20, 2010 at W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Chapel, 106 Athabasca St. E., Moose Jaw at 1:30 pm with Pastor Barry Gammie officiating.
